I’m a man at war, so do not compare your problems to mine.
I’m a man at war—you complain, but I believe you’ll be just fine.
We are not the same.
You’re depressed over a failed relationship.
I’m depressed knowing I may not live long enough to experience one.
We are not the same.
You cry because you have school tomorrow.
I cry because I might not see tomorrow.
We are not the same.
I’m a man at war, so do not compare your cries to mine.
You will wake up, and life will go on.
I might not.
This is not to brag about my struggles,
but to remind you—be grateful that your problems are not mine.
I’m a man at war.
I’m a man at war.
And war does not wait.

Such a great poem! It really reminds me of the war happening in the East side of my Home country! Indeed the struggles are not the same!
