There are times we don’t get along
We sing the same song, but it’s not enough
There are matters we need to discuss
Questions that weigh on our minds, causing a fuss
Why the future and the past, we ask
When is He coming, will we last?
Will we see Him, where will we be?
What does heaven look like, how did You create everything we see?
Why the suffering, why the joy, why the hate?
Why is Your name always up for debate?
Why is there evil in this world we live?
These are questions we seek to understand and give answers that satisfy our longing hearts
A sense of direction, a way to chart a course in this life that’s not always clear
But with faith and hope, we have nothing to fear
Trust in a loving God, seek understanding and peace
In the midst of uncertainty, our fears will cease
As we continue to ask, seek, and find
We’ll discover the answers that bring peace of mind.
